(2) Background checks should be performed on weapons purchased from independent gun dealers to prevent people from receiving weapons who shouldn't have them. (3) Allowing citizens to have weapons allows mass extermination events to occur. (3) People who aren't allowed to have weapons can get them from people who are, so preventing everyone from having weapons will prevent violent crimes.
